PERSONAL USERS
As more homes become more wired, with computers, Internet connections
and even wireless networks, they become more vulnerable to threats from
hackers, identity thieves and even online predators.
We've created a series
of educational programs, including free security kits and free seminars
that will help you understand what's at risk, and the simple steps you
can take to protect yourself and your family.

more about the threats and what you can do to avoid them.
Free Security Awareness Kit
Cyber security starts
with awareness, and to help you educate yourself and your family about
better cyber security practices, we've developed a free cyber security
awareness kit to help explain the basic risks and solutions.
The kit includes a
security handbook, security posters, security stickers, and a security
awareness screensaver.
The goal of the kit
it two-fold: to educate you and your family about better security practices
at home, and to remind you to Think Security First! whether it's using
a computer, surfing the Internet, and using a credit card.
And even if you don't
use a computer at home, you may still be at risk from crimes like identity
theft and credit card fraud.
The kit is on CDROM, and is free of charge for all residents in Walnut
Creek. Click here to order your free
copy.
